Untouched by human hand for years ever since the old tribe of natives left. There was a large wild fire that destroyed everything. The fire burned for days on end until finally the wet season brought rain. In the ashes new life appeared as well as two sibling Lions. After leaving their parents a Lioness named Imara and her brother Thimba had agreed to start a Pride. However Imara, being more dominant then Thimba, said she could lead a Pride on her own. If she was to find a mate she told him it'd have to be the right one.
However many times when a male had tried to force mate her, she ended up slitting their throats or chasing them off. Therefor she refuses to breed unless she has the 'right' mate. Ignoring her brothers pleads she mentions she wants a mate who will love her for who she is. She doesn't care about their personality as long as they're not a goody goody male.
Now Imara claiming the territory as the Aslana Pride. Veren a wandering male had recently had an encounter with Imara at the border. This wasn't all too friendly and Imara has told him to keep his distance. However since he's an Outsider he doesn't have to listen to her and every now and then wanders into the terriotry. Thimba doesn't trust him at all and tries to warn Imara. Of course she ignores him still watching this young male carefully while at the same time hopeing her Pride will grow. Can she hold onto power long enough for her to even get herself a mate or will she fall and have to look to her brother for help.
