Can you live under MY rule?
Her eyes landed on the small flock of birding picking little worms from the ground. Her fur kept her hidden well within the golden grass. She let a smirk come upon her muzzle as she stalked slowly forward. You could see the three scars on her neck between the blades of grass. Well you could see them from both sides since she had them imprinted on her neck on both sides. Where they came from? She never even told her brother, Thimba. In turth they had come from one of the males she had slain when she took off from her brother. Truly if it hadn't been for Thimba she could've stared being unable to hunt with the wound. Under her luck it healed well, but left those scars.
She wouldn't speak of her past after the death of her father and her mother vanished. She ran off from her brother sevral times showing him how indepented she truly was. She wasn't the one to submit to anyone. Every male who came near here was taught a lesson. Some never lived to truly learn the lesson and others learned this. Never truly mess with a female unless they're willing to breed. Some she had slit their throats and others left her alone covered in their own blood. She had been like this every since she was a cub.
Imara, the so called Queen of Aslana was rather proud of it all considering on d**ned male around the corner off her territory. She had warned him, but knowing him he wouldn't listen. Annoying yes, but he hadn't really done much harm... yet. Still Imara had very little trust in the lion. Even though she didn't like other lionesses, she still knew she had to accept everyone of them who wanted to join her Pride. Too many males could throw her off. That was never she'd never let happen.
Still sneeking forward her head popped out of the grass. "Boo." She said as the birds scattered away to the nearest tree. A grin came across the Lionesses muzzle as her head and body lifted up. She came to simply startled them. Just some harmless little fun, chasing some birds. Well to Imara... it wasn't...

A sleek female darted among the rare sight of trees in the savanna. Trees were rare, and she tried to make the most of them. Jumping to and fro she frolicked in the shaded landscape. Her joy was to hide her tears. The seemingly happy exterior was a lie. It seemed her whole life was a lie, a mercilious story that kept killing her dreams and very soul. A bit aways she heard an animated "Boo" and thingyed her head to the side. Could it possibly be Imara? She had heard about the alphess. Supposedly she was strong as steel, but as cunning as an owl. But the main thing she had heard was simple, she hated lionesses.
It was simply a rumour of course. No one could hate all females. That was impossible. Wasn't it? Suddenly the small forest ended and she came to a full stop as she came face to face with what could only be Imara. It seemed she was chasing birds, harmless, but the way she went about it seemed... menacing. Giving a small bow of the neck she stated softly, "Hello there, I be Nyhia." It was awkward, for she knew not what to call her. Certainaly she could not just state her name! Her very stature seemed royal and regal. So much more important then her. She hung her head lower, Imara's demeanour washing over her.

Her eyes shifted around and fell upon the birds upon the tree. Her smirked grew as she slowly walked toward it. She lifted her two fronts paws onto the trunk of the tree. The birds chirpped angerly at her. She countered their annoying chirps with her own roar causing the birds to fly away and this time far away. She noticed some small animals scurrying into their dens as the Queen beamed.
She turned back to the spot when the birds had been eating. Looking at one of the worms squirming into the ground. She shifted to cub mode for a minute batting at it. The didn't seem to care, but she heard that if you cut it in half it will still be living. Drawing a claw she carefully sliced through the pink creatures body. She looked on as it still moved. So it was true. She shrugged and moved on.
However she came face to face with another Lioness. She wrinkled her nose in annoyance as the Lioness spoke. Nyhia... Nyhia... Oh yeah a member. Her mood changed when the Lioness submitted to her. At least she was respectful to the Queen. "Nyhia... Are you enjoying yourself and following the laws?" She had strugged not to say something smart as her brother had told her.

Kimba sat in the bushes shiving and looking at the talking females that looked kinda like his momma. He curled up into a ball and shook and rolled out of his hoding spot into the open. She jumped up and ran back to the bushes.
He meowed and cried wanting his momma she would protect him but she wasn'there.Oh how he missed her he missed the warmth, the warm milk, the grooming he wanted his momma to be here.He hoped they wouldn't hurt him.

She Said; She Said Why Dont You Just Drop Dead Nyhia wondered about Imara. They clashed horribly, she was sweet and Imara was... not. But there had to be something. She wouldn't have come over if something was not right. Maybe, she thought, maybe they were both hiding themselves. Inside was Imara like her? Why would she be masking it though? Why was she hiding her inner strenght, she thought with amusment. Why did everyone have to hide themselves behind a mask? Could it be that they were alike? Or was it just her dilussional rantings that brought these question soaring into her brain.
Watching her queen slice open an innocent soul had been heartwrenching, but also, relieving? Yes, yes she had the distinct feeling of that she could be who she wanted to be. It was her new life, no longer did she have to hide behind fierce males. She could be be the fierce female. But she would not. Such was simply her. Nyhia had been soft for so long she had forgotten what it meant to have lions/lioness tremble in her wake. No, she could not do it. The closest she would get was Imara. That was it! That is what had made her attracted to her! Imara was strong, and she was not! Suddenly she realized that she was being addressed and momentarily forgot what they had been talking about. Staring at her queen in a new light she replied, "Yes, my queen. I am amazed that you have been able to form such a strong community. Not that I don't think you could." she paused, realizing that she had just insulted her. "I mean... it was a great thing... making the pride. It.. you.." she lowered her head again. "Thank you for allowing me to join." she said feeling incrediblely stupid.
Suddenly she heard a noise. Her ears stood erect as she heard the meowing of a cub. Twisting her head she saw a ball of fluff roll into the bushes and she cast a quizzical look towards Imara. Who was this mysterious guest?

Imara smiled toward the Lioness. A good member and Thimba had always told her never be too smart ass toward the members. She could do it all she wanted toward the Outlanders of course. Looking down at the worm still squirming around she was amazed the story was true. Even if you sliced it in true it still lived. She snorted as it vanished under the dirty. The birds hadn't returned to peck at them again. Either they knew the Queen was still here or they didn't ever want to come back.
In any case Imara had grown bored. Without her brother to harass she mine as well see if this Lioness was intresting. Some of the small animals had come from their dens. The bat-eared Foxes were still nervous and a near by Leopard jumped out of a tree and trotted off. Ignoring the animals a Jackle looked as if it had snagged a bird. Imara didn't care. As long as the animals didn't take down the bigger prey she wanted, she could care less.
"Ah yes. I proved Lionesses can lead Prides just as well as Lions can." She beamed rather proudly. Imara had told some Lionesses to try and hold more power in their prides.
Something however did catch attention. She at first thought it was an abandon Cheetah cub, but as she moved she noticed something curled up and it didn't have spots. Moving forward she pushed it over hearing it mew. A growl came from the Queens throat as she noticed it was a lion cub.
"Hey kid." She said. "Who are you and why the hell are you on my territory? Where's your mother?" Nope. Imara wasn't even all that kind to cub. Well if it was one of her Pride then it would be different, but an outsider cub wasn't welcome.

Kimba looked at them with glossy eyes and only trembled with fear.As the queen looked at him he lowered his head knowing she was queen. He mewed and looked at the other that talked with the queen. He didn't smile, laugh, or growl the only thing he did was cry, scared to death.
Words were on his tongue as he looked back at the queen"My my momma died."He studdered terrified and continued to look at the queen, no longer crying. He waited and looked at her with glossy eyes still but cleared them up.
